Gasket Plate Type Tailored Frame Heat Exchanger for Custom Applications
Semi-welded plate heat exchangers feature plates consisting of two plates laser-welded along the seal groove, with gaskets clamped on the fixed and active plates through superposition. The key advantage is that one side is sealed by welding while the other side uses gaskets for easy cleaning. Special gaskets seal the corner pores on the welding side, minimizing the number of seal gaskets required.
Applications
Semi-welded plate heat exchangers replace shell and tube heat exchangers and welded plate heat exchangers in cooling and chemical processing applications.
