The W50 is a rugged three-phase induction motor engineered for demanding industrial continuous-duty applications. Built around a high-strength cast-iron frame with optimized cooling air paths, it balances reliable output, lower operating temperature and long service life. It is offered in IEC frames 315–450 across 2P to 12P speeds, covering both low-voltage and high-voltage designs.

  • Robust cast-iron frame & optimized cooling — FC-200 cast-iron drive-end housing and designed internal cooling channels improve heat dissipation and keep bearing temperature low, supporting stable long-run operation.
  • F-class insulation, B-class (80K) rise — Standard F-class insulation system with B-class temperature rise (80K); H-class insulation available on request. High-voltage windings use vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) for durable insulation against moisture and contamination.
  • Built for VFD duty — Suitable for inverter/variable-frequency drive operation; insulation can be further reinforced for converter-driven service on request.
  • Monitoring & protection ready — Stator windings and bearings can be fitted with Pt100 RTDs; bimetal thermostats, PTC thermistors and anti-condensation space heaters are available; optional shaft-grounding carbon brush / AEGIS ring protects bearings against electrical erosion under VFD.
  • Modular terminal box — Versatile, repositionable terminal box design; separate power and auxiliary terminal boxes available for high-voltage units, with grounding terminals.
  • Protection levels — Standard IP55 per IEC 60034-5; IP56 / IP65 / IP66 optional for demanding environments.
  • Wide configuration — Rolling or sleeve bearings, balanced rotors, custom voltage/frequency to match local grids; standard ambient −20°C to +40°C, altitude up to 1000m (IEC 60034-1).
