Industrial Plate Evaporator with Gasket Heat Exchanger
Plate evaporators are widely used in evaporation applications due to their high heat transfer efficiency, convenient maintenance, and easy expansion capabilities.
A plate evaporator system consists of a plate preheater, plate heat exchanger, plate condenser, material pump, separator, demister, steam scrubber, and pipelines. This evaporation equipment utilizes plate heat exchangers as the primary heat transfer components throughout the system, with plates serving as the main heat-transfer elements.
Working Principle
Plate evaporators achieve heat transfer through partition walls. The material to be evaporated is heated above its boiling point under corresponding pressure conditions, resulting in continuous boiling. The mixture is then separated into concentrated liquid and pure saturated water vapor in the gas-liquid separator to achieve concentration objectives.
Construction and Assembly
Material and steam channels in plate evaporators are alternately combined using identical plates through gaskets or welding. Assembly configurations include detachable, semi-welded, and fully-welded types to suit various operational requirements.
